While driving digital accessibility, Evocabank's mobile-first strategy also exposed the institution to the growing global landscape of cyber threats.

The Solution

To secure its digital perimeter, Evocabank chose to integrate Unico’s server-based Liveness and Biometry solutions. This technology was deployed to protect several critical customer touchpoints, including new bank account registrations, mobile app authentication, and online loan requests. By opting for a server-based deployment, Evocabank centralized the fraud detection logic within its own infrastructure, guaranteeing enhanced security and operational control. The decision was heavily driven by Unico's globally recognized, certified security standards, including ISO and iBeta NIST Level 1 and 2 certifications, ensuring the highest accuracy in differentiating between real users and spoofing attempts.
