SÃO PAULO, May 20, 2026 – Unico, the leading identity verification network infrastructure in Latin America, today announced the promotion of Fernanda Beato to General Manager (GM) of Brazil. Beato, who joined the company in 2022 as Executive Sales Director, expands her operational scope to lead the national business unit end-to-end. In this role, she will own regional growth acceleration, key account retention, and strategic cross-border sales orchestration, reporting directly to Luis Felipe Monteiro, LATAM CEO.

This leadership structure aligns with Unico's global expansion and underscores the strategic importance of the Brazilian market within the company's international footprint. Since stepping into Unico, Beato has been the chief architect behind scaling the company's enterprise client portfolio and accelerating commercial results. In her new position, she will execute a growth roadmap focused on enterprise account proximity, scaling innovative cloud solutions, and expanding identity infrastructure into new verticals.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from Escola de Administração Mauá and a post-graduate specialization in Marketing from Ibmec. Committed to fostering the innovation ecosystem, she has also served as a Go-to-Market (GTM) and sales mentor for the Brazilian Startup Association's Start Program in partnership with Sebrae.
